A State of Socialist Utopia

Aaaaah little fluffy clouds – in my mind, this what utopia looks like.

What is utopia?

Dictionary definition
“An ideally perfect place, especially in its social, political, and moral aspects.”

So by that definition I guess we all have our own “utopia”.

So what is my utopia?
Well, I think it goes without saying really. All I want is for a world where people don’t fight, where there’s complete tolerance amongst ALL members of society.
There’d be no bitching about minority groups, people would just GET ON!
There’d be complete peace, love & harmony.

Call me naive, stupid, loony lefty, call me what you want – the fact remains that the world would be a much nicer place if we all just got along.

I just don’t understand all this bitterness that we all harbour – I’m no exception, I mean of course there are people that REALLY yank my chain but I can’t help thinking that if THEY were more tolerant & less bitter then we’d probably get along.

Just recently, I’ve taken some time off from politics.
I’m a fully paid up member of the Green party, however, since those blue & yellow bastards got into office my political persuasions have taken a turn …..

Whereas my thing was always environmental politics, I’ve been struck dumb by the complete inability of Cameron & his cronies to look after the weak, vulnerable minorities of our country.
After much consideration I now feel that in my quest for a state of utopia I am now gravitating more to Socialism.
I have this unnerving desire to take care of people, to stand up for them, to help create a better place to live.

Is this so wrong?

I can hear some of you now, calling me all sorts of names for wanting a “hippy dippy” ideal.
Well if my quest for peace offends then I feel bad for you & want to give you a big, loved up, socialist cuddle.

I love each & every one of you – even the Tories ;-)

I suspect Cameron and his chums are not so much unable as just unwilling – the suffering being caused to those who already had so little is a disgrace. The way the coalition have managed to tap into the media’s (Mail, Express, Sun, channel 4′s) desire to divide and sneer is deeply worrying. While I agree with the desire for socialism to assert itself, there is no powerful left wing group just now. Miliband’s Labour is as insipid as his nasal whine!
